My son enjoyed taking drum lessons with Tim. He is so patient and able to turn any distraction my son threw at him into a lesson. He is AWESOME!!

Tim is a top notch drum instructor. He started teaching my son Will when he was 4 years old and has guided him along with patience and knowledge. Will is now 13 years old and is not only an excellent drummer, but truly enjoys it. Much of this is due to teachings of Tim. He taught Will how read music as well as improvise which has allowed my son to have the confidence necessary to play in front of large groups of people with ease. If anyone is remotely interested in becoming a drummer, I highly recommend Tim @ RhythmSTL. You will see amazing results.

I took Cajon lessons with Tim. He is absolutely great. I am new to the instrument and have little in way of a musical background. Tim has given me the tools and confidence to tackle this new adventure. What is an added bonus are the progression notes, and what to work on each week after the lesson(s). This is extremely helpful.

Tim is an excellent instructor and a passionate drummer. He helped introduce me to the daily practices of kit drumming. I am now prepared for a lifetime of drumming, being able to read music, use a metronome, select equipment, and know where to look for more published material. We get out what we put into practice. Accordingly, Tim stressed that a practice piece could be modified for a wide variety of practices on the drum set.

Tim is awesome! He is kind, patient and funny! He has excellent knowledge of the drums and was great at meeting my 14 year old at her beginner’s level. She really enjoyed her lessons and I would highly recommend Tim to anyone interested in drum lessons!
